Professional Slimeball League! PSL

So there I was trying to think of games that are easy to make and fun to play. When an Idea popped into my head. Slimeball! Its something I've seen a couple videos on youtube about where its like ultimate frisbee but with a ball of slime. It requires a little redstone wireing for goals but other then that really easy to make. I was also thinking since this server continues to grow... and many people are trying to make towns, we could have each town build there own arena and field their own team and we could make a PSL (Professional Slimeball League)!!! We could have games every week and make a huge season out of it with a big prize at the end for the champ! I'm a long way from getting my town set up and even farther away from building the arena... but I was just wondering what you owners would think of helping me put this together... I can explain the rules if you want!

So it's essentially tag but with slimeballs? I would prefer bows and arrows but it's your choice.

Thought you might want to see it... the staidium is halfway done but the court is ready for at least a trial game!!!

2 teams of 3-5
Goal is to throw (press q while slime ball is equipped) into the opponents goal. First to 5 wins
Referee throws slime ball into center of court to begin gameplay.
Whenever ball is equipped you cant move... 1 or so steps is ok as you receive the ball (Traveling is a turnover)
Throw the ball to your teammates while the opponents try to intercept
As the Defense if the offense is within a 5 block radius of the goal and you fall in, it is considered goaltending. (Offense gets a power play meaning the Defense has to remove a player for 30secs (or more))

I was also thinking of putting random obstacle deployment into the game at the referee Discretion. Like flame charges shot out of dispensers and pistons randomly shooting up from the ground... anything to keep the spectators entertained.

Maybe charge entry fee's and pay the refs and stuff like that...

Putting obstacles on a court? Basketball is partly successful probably because it doesn't have obstacles on the field. Maybe you can use a mob spawner to spawn a mob, the better the teams that play, the harder the mob will be.

Tier 1:
-Zombie
-Spider

Tier 2:
-Skeleton
-Slime

Tier 3:
-Creeper
-Zombie pigmen (perhaps 2)

Tier 4:
-Enderman
-Ghast?

Tier 5:
-Army of Spiders (5 spiders)
-Army of Zombies (5 Zombies)

How does that sound?

The drops might get a little confusing in your inventory, but it would defiantly add another aspect to the game. In the arena I'm building I'm using pistons to push the floor up and down.

I think it be cool if every town had a stadium with a different aspect. I'd even be willing to help do the redstone wireing if they need it.

This game sounds really cool, can't wait untill I get a change to play it!

That's the whole point of it, it gives the game a challenge, an interesting twist perhaps. Also, I suggest you stop double posting.

The form wont let me post a link to the video but the game is really called Blocky... but to me that name just sounds weird... On a side note My court is completely operational right now Everything from this point is just cosmetics...

Have you asked the admins to make a warp at spawn to it?

I really like this idea! I can help with the building process and teammaking. I can also get some more ppls on the server to help with yer project
